Breezy Aviation, LLC (collectively known as "Breezy," "we," "our," or "us") operates a technology platform (the "Platform") that facilitates administrative marketplace interactions between independent aircraft owners and pilots. Breezy does not own, lease, manage, maintain, dispatch, crew, operate, or control any aircraft listed on the Platform. Breezy expressly disclaims "operational control" as that term is defined under applicable Federal Aviation Administration ("FAA") regulations. All aircraft operations are conducted exclusively pursuant to private dry lease arrangements between owners and pilots, and the Pilot in Command retains sole responsibility for each flight's operation, safety, and regulatory compliance. Breezy makes no representations or warranties of any kind as to the qualification, training, skill, aptitude, medical condition, currency, regulatory compliance or ability of any pilot to operate any particular aircraft on any particular flight. Any identity/document collection, administrative validation, reservation facilitation, communications, or platform enforcement performed by Breezy is non-operational in nature and does not constitute supervision, approval, endorsement, dispatch, or control of any flight, pilot, or aircraft.
Welcome to Breezy ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our peer-to-peer technology marketplace facilitating reservation-based dry lease interactions between independent aircraft owners and pilots (the "Platform").
2.1 Personal Information
"Personal information" refers to any information which is related to, associated with, or could be reasonably linked to an identified or identifiable individual. We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you:
- Register for an account
- Create a pilot or owner profile
- List an aircraft on the Platform
- Make an aircraft reservation request or accept a reservation
- Communicate through our messaging system
- Contact customer support
This information may include: name, email address, phone number, mailing address, pilot certificate information, medical certificate status, government-issued ID, passport, national ID card, tax ID, digital identity, and/or a selfie, date of birth, payment information, aircraft registration details, and insurance documentation.
Additional Profile Information that you can choose to provide may include: gender, preferred language(s), city, personal description, hometown, languages spoken, education, and any additional profile information you provide.
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
When you access the Platform, we automatically collect certain information, including: IP address, browser type, operating system, access times, pages viewed, and the page you visited before navigating to our Platform.
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Facilitate aircraft reservations through the Platform and related marketplace administration
- Process payments and transactions
- Administratively validate pilot credentials and aircraft documentation (non-operational and non-regulatory in nature)
- Enable communication between pilots and owners
- Enable you to lease or offer to lease an Aircraft
- Send administrative information, security alerts, updates, and notifications
- Improve the Platform and user experience
- Prevent fraudulent transactions and ensure Platform security
- Comply with legal obligations
- Perform analytics, debug, and conduct research
- Develop and improve our Platform
- Provide customer service training
- Enforce our agreements with third parties
- Send promotional, advertising, and marketing messages
- Analyze characteristics and preferences to send promotional messages, marketing, advertising, and other information that we think might be of interest to you
Breezy does not use personal information to approve pilots, determine airworthiness, provide dispatch services, or supervise or control flight operations.
4.1 With Other Users
When you create a profile or list an aircraft on the Platform, certain information may be visible to other users, including your name, profile photo, certificates, ratings, user-submitted profile information, experience summaries, and reviews. Aircraft Owners may view pilot credentials of users requesting reservations for their own independent verification and decision-making. Pilot credentials may include your first name, last name, phone number, postal address, email address, date of birth, and profile photo, FAA airman certificate, FAA medical certificate, certain logbooks endorsements (i.e. BFR, IPC, type-specific training, etc.) some of which will depend on the features you use. Breezy does not certify, endorse, or approve any pilot or aircraft.
4.2 With Service Providers
We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing (e.g., Stripe), email delivery, hosting services, identity verification, analytics, and customer support. For payment transactions, payment account, credit card information, bank account information, payment instrument used, date and time, payment amount, payment instrument expiration date and billing postcode, PayPal email address, IBAN information, your address, and other related transaction details may be shared. All authorized service providers are permitted to use personal information only to perform services for Breezy and must protect it in accordance with contractual obligations.
4.3 Legal Requirements
As we reasonably deem appropriate, we may disclose your information or communications to courts, law enforcement, governmental or public authorities, tax authorities, authorized third parties, if and to the extent we are required or permitted to do so by law or where disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (i) comply with our legal obligations, (ii) comply with a valid legal request, such as a subpoena or court order, or to respond to claims asserted against Breezy, (iii) respond to a valid legal request relating to a criminal investigation to address alleged or suspected illegal activity, or to respond to or address any other activity that may expose us, you, or any other of our users to legal or regulatory liability, (iv) enforce and administer our agreements including our Terms and Policies, (v) investigate potential violations of applicable law, including emergency situations which may involve the risk of death or serious physical harm, (vi) respond to requests for or in connection with current or prospective claims or legal proceedings concerning Breezy and/or third parties, in accordance with applicable law, or (vii) protect the safety, security, rights, or property of Breezy, its employees, its Members, or the public.
4.4 Insurance and Claims Cooperation
We may disclose information as reasonably necessary to cooperate with aviation insurance carriers or brokers, support claims administration, investigations from any appropriate agency (e.g. FAA or NTSB), underwriting inquiries, dispute resolution, and loss events. Information disclosed may include pre-contract information such as your name, aircraft accommodation, hangar address, date of birth, age, e-mail address, trip start/end date, trip cost, and booking or reservation number. Such disclosures are administrative and documentary in nature and do not constitute risk evaluation, coverage determination, or operational involvement by Breezy.
If you are an Aircraft Owner, we may collect information regarding your business, commercial, or professional insurance that you are required to maintain under our Terms or Additional Terms for Service to offer your Aircraft listing.
4.5 License Information
If you are a Pilot, we may collect information regarding your business, commercial, or professional insurance(s) and professional licenses, permits, authorizations, or certifications required to utilize the Aircraft and/or that you are required to maintain under our Terms or Additional Terms for Service to use the Platform.
We implement appropriate technical, administrative, physical and organizational security measures designed to protect your personal information against unlawful or unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or alteration. We also restrict access to personal information used by Breezy to a limited number of authorized individuals subject to strict confidentiality obligations. However, no electronic transmission or storage system is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, insurance, audit, or dispute resolution purposes.
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information
- Objection/Restriction: Object to or restrict our processing of your personal information where applicable
- Data Portability: Request transfer of your information to another service where applicable
- Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our Platform and store certain information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some features of our Platform may not function properly without cookies.
Our Platform may contain links to third-party websites and we may collect personal information from other sources. If you choose to link, connect, or login to the Platform with a third-party service, such as Google or Facebook, you direct the service to send us information such as your registration, friends list, and profile information as controlled by that service or as authorized by you via your privacy settings at that service.
Consistent with applicable law and with your consent where required, we may collect personal information from background screenings and license verification providers.
If you are invited to the Platform, for example, as a referral, the person who invited you can submit personal information about you.
If a Pilot or Owner, or any third party submits a complaint about you, we may receive information relating to the specific complaint made in order to understand and, where relevant, address the complaint.
If you elect to pay with funds from your bank account, we may receive certain information from your financial institution, such as bank account details and account balance.
We may also receive additional personal information about you from our corporate affiliates.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
Our Platform is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are under the age of 18, you may use the Platform commonly with prior written permission of a parent or guardian. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time in accordance with applicable law. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. If you do not cancel your account before the date the revised Privacy Policy becomes effective, your continued access to use the Platform will be subject to the revised Privacy Policy.

This Addendum supplements the Privacy Policy and applies only to individuals residing in jurisdictions with applicable privacy laws, including California and Texas. If there is a conflict between this Addendum and the main Privacy Policy, this Addendum controls for residents of the applicable jurisdiction.
13.1 California Residents (CPRA/CCPA)
Categories of personal information we may collect include:
- Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, IP address
- Commercial information: transaction records and reservation history
- Internet or network activity: Platform usage and interaction data
- Sensitive personal information: government ID, pilot certificate information, and insurance documentation, where voluntarily provided
We use sensitive personal information only for permitted business purposes such as account administration, fraud prevention, security, compliance, and insurance cooperation. Breezy does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
California residents may request to:
- Know/access what personal information is collected, used, or disclosed
- Delete personal information (subject to lawful exceptions)
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Limit the use/disclosure of sensitive personal information (where applicable)
- Opt out of sale/sharing (not applicable because Breezy does not sell/share for cross-context behavioral advertising)
- Not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights

13.2 Texas Residents (TDPSA)
Texas residents may have the right to confirm processing, access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising or data sales (not applicable because Breezy does not sell personal data). Requests may be submitted to support@breezyaviation.com.
To enhance Platform security and reduce fraud, Breezy may offer or require identity verification measures, which may include government-issued identification verification and selfie or photo-based identity matching through third-party vendors. Any such verification is performed solely for administrative security and fraud-prevention purposes.
Breezy does not operate or maintain a biometric identification system, does not create biometric profiles, and does not use biometric information for flight authentication, flight safety determinations, pilot competency evaluation, or operational decision-making. Third-party verification providers process information in accordance with their privacy policies and contractual obligations.
Identity or document verification performed through the Platform does not constitute pilot certification, qualification, approval, or endorsement, and does not replace owner, pilot, FAA, or insurer responsibilities.
For purposes of this Privacy Policy and any related platform agreements, the following terms are intended to align with the definitions used in the Breezy Terms of Service:
- Platform: Breezy's website, mobile application, and related services.
- User: Any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Platform.
- Owner: A User that lists an aircraft and independently determines access approval, insurance requirements, and checkout procedures.
- Pilot: A User that requests access to an aircraft and may act as pilot in command under a private dry lease arrangement.
- Reservation: A platform-facilitated request for aircraft access; not air transportation, charter, dispatch, or flight services.
- Dry Lease: A lease arrangement where the aircraft is provided without crew or flight services and without operational control by Breezy.
- Administrative Validation: A non-operational review of submitted information for completeness/formatting consistency only; not certification or compliance determination.
- Operational Control: As defined under applicable FAA regulations; expressly disclaimed by Breezy.
16.1 Administrative Data Processing Only. Breezy processes personal information solely as a marketplace operator and administrative service provider. Breezy does not process data for the purpose of determining pilot competency, determining aircraft airworthiness, authorizing flight operations, or acting as an insurer, broker, or underwriter. We will not sell reviews or analyses of these communications.
16.2 Insurance Cooperation & Claims Support. Breezy may collect, retain, and disclose information as reasonably necessary to cooperate with insurance carriers or brokers, support underwriting inquiries, assist with claims administration or investigations, and support dispute resolution. Such cooperation is administrative and documentary in nature and does not constitute coverage determination or acceptance of liability by Breezy.
16.3 Regulatory and Legal Disclosure. Breezy may disclose personal information to comply with laws, lawful governmental requests, subpoenas, or court orders, including aviation regulatory inquiries. Such disclosures do not imply operational control.
16.4 Retention for Insurance & Legal Purposes. Notwithstanding account deletion or data erasure requests, Breezy may retain certain information for a reasonable period as required for insurance, legal, regulatory, or dispute-resolution purposes, to preserve evidence and comply with obligations.
16.5 No Third-Party Beneficiaries. Nothing in this Privacy Policy creates third-party beneficiary rights.
